Will Jesus be stoked if you go to hell?
"The Sola Panel" seems to think so: Here
This is probably the worst example of theological preaching/teaching I have ever seen. When you read it, you'll probably question whether or not this guy, Gordon Cheng, is actually joking.
Here's a little taste of the incoherent drivel you're about to read:
"The Lord Jesus was comforted on the cross by the thought that his heavenly Father would save him from wicked people"
"To sum up: the idea that God will judge people and cast them into eternal destruction—hell—for all eternity is a great comfort to anyone who is angry about injustice. Those of us who teach the gospel or tell it to others have a wonderfully comforting message of damnation..."
I'm literally speechless...
Fortunately, someone who wrote in the comments thread OWNED this guy.

Just wondering what exactly it was about Gordon's comments regarding God and his just judgement that you found so alarming?
I don't know how to say this in a way that's not offensive, but I'm alarmed that you don't see something inappropriate and simply incorrect here. Are you serious? Perhaps you need to reread Gordon's post. Not only is it sloppy exegetically and theologically, but the application of his point is also contrived.
And let's not hide behind the assertion that Gordon is simply reflecting on God's justice here. Also try to not to fall into the oversimplification of accusing me of advocating a watered down 'God is love only' version of the gospel. Not only is Gordon's post ridiculous, but it also fails to recognize that God's perfectly just nature and actions are simply a different matter than man's posture toward the rest of mankind (as called for by God). I see no injunction in Scripture calling for a joyous response toward the damnation of anyone, regardless of the degree to which a particular person or group is unjust.
I could say much more, and quite frankly, the fact that you ask this question makes me want to sit here and do so; but given the fact that you ask this question makes me skeptical that you're actually open to being swayed, and I don't feel like going back and forth with you. The best I can tell you is that you and Gordon may need to take another look at the Bible.
